Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman holds the Honorary Chair in Psychology at the University of California Davis and is Director of the Center for Public Policy Research. The university is renowned for launching the modern science of eyewitness memory in children and utilizing child victims to testify as legal witnesses. Professor Goodman has published extensively she has received grants from numerous sources and received several international and national awards. She has provided policy and research consultations for numerous government agencies and departments around the globe. She is a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, like the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is a member of Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding member) International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as the head of the American Psychological Association's three divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice.
